David brings a rare combination of military precision, corporate strategy, and operational excellence to the world of acquisitions.

A former Commissioned Officer in the British Army’s Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, David served for 13 years before transitioning into the private sector, where he quickly established a reputation for leadership, integrity, and results.

In recent years, he has led and was responsible for global sign-off for multi-million-euro regulatory and transformation programmes in the financial services and fintech sectors including:

- High-stakes financial projects at Deutsche Bank, where he was brought in to remediate a $200m regulatory fine and compliance issue,

- Multiple and significant platform and user migrations, for example, full management and responsibility of safely moving the entire €30 billion p/a fee generating portion of the bank to Windows 11.

His ability to communicate at Management Board levels and consistently deliver under pressure, has made him a sought-after project and programme director at the highest levels.

David is now channelling his experience into growing Daumig, a boutique acquisitions firm focused on acquiring and growing exceptional businesses.
